Student Leadership Council
The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is composed of students from the various core institutions whose goal is to represent all students’ interest in the NURail Center. Both existing and new AREMA Student Chapters at the partner institutions were engaged to support this process. The SLC Chair has a seat on the Leadership Team to facilitate communication between the students and research, education, and technology transfer leaders of the Center. The council conducts monthly calls and organizes meetings during conferences such as TRB, JRC, AREMA and the NURail Annual Meeting. The SLC also performs an annual SWOT analysis for the purpose of strengthening the Center and the student’s experience within the Center.
